Potatopotet.blogspot.com

So I came across this really cool blog and I thought I might share it with you guys! The post that made me keep looking through the blog was one entitled 'I'm blue dabadidabada.' The person who runs the blog was showing pictures of a blue dress she bought that was absolutely adorable! It also happens to be the dress to the left of this text ;) I love how retro classic it is and if you could see a bigger picture of the dress (which you can if you go to her blog!) then you can see all the flower detailing on it. I loved it and scrolling through some more of her blog I thought it was very cool and well put together!

I held on as tightly as you held onto me.

I'm really sorry! I've been away from the blog for a really really long time. I've just been busy and stressed out with everything on my plate. I just finished student directing Annie Jr. so I will now have some more time :) Yay! So the topic today is about those big bangles! They're super cute and can add a lot to an outfit. These are some of the big bangles I have. They are both from Forever 21. Inexpensive and pretty cute, right? Of course, I would not wear them together. I also really love the idea of wearing metallic-ish bangles to spice up an outfit for a party or date or something. So the next time you are looking for a little pop of color, why not try a bangle? They're fun and cute! Hopefully within the next few weeks, I will be posting some more new blogs. I'm really into dresses (yes, converting some into fall/winter dresses) and hair accesories at the moment. So maybe I'll do a blog on that. I also have some really cute ideas on posting "bio blogs" so you guys can learn about who we are, why we love fashion so much, and what we're all about. Thanks for reading!
Until next time,
Kaitlin and All the Rage!

Help! I Need Somebody!

okay so look numbero uno. It is a little jumper with an adorable purse that you cannot really make out due to the size of the picture ): I love jumpers, though I don't own one (sadface), and I am dying to get one. I think they are beyond stylish. I also am digging the high socks. Socks need to start making a comeback for sure! I think the little cardigan really adds a nice finishing touch to the look to dress it down for school attire.

This I feel in love with the minute I saw! I am obsessed with rings, so all the rings she is wearing just makes my life. The hate she is wearing is adorable too, though I'm sure I wouldn't be able to pull it off. I love her dress and how classic and sleek the bottom half of her body is with the all black and pearls and then the hat and fingers loaded with rings adds such a fun touch to it.

I've Been Here For The Show. Every High Every Low.

So I stayed home sick today and decided to make something. Lately I've been really into DIY (do it yourself) projects and this is just one of the many things I've made lately.

It's a scarf/ necklace that is made out of two cotton t-shirts. It's super soft and warm and looks super cute. You can't tell from my crappy phone picture, but I spackled (is that a word? haha) it with bleach to add a nice touch :) I'm thinking about posting a tutorial on how I made it. Anyone interested? I'm only gonna do it if you want to see how!

We Need Some Light.

Hey everyone! Found some cute looks today on lookbook.nu! Want a code to it? look on our side bar to find out how!

Okay so i thought the colors in this were so pretty. the color of her skirt is stunning and i loooove what i can see of her heels! they are so bulky and fun! plus the skirt is high-waisted. I say it time and time again, it's my favorite piece of clothing.

okay so i really liked how monotone this outfit was, but it was still really fun. see the way she cinched the dress and cardigan together at the waist? It's a great way to add some shape to the outfit. also if your outfit is very monotone like this and you don't like it adding a colorful belt will fix that!

This is my favorite look from today! I loooove the wool leggings. and the shirt with the yellow belt is beyond cute. I think my favorite thing about it is the hat though. It's really hard to pull off a hat like that I think the girl in the picture did it super well!

Catch Me I'm Falling

Hey guys! so today I decided to figure out how to make a good set on polyvore, and I did an okay one. So I thought I would show you guys.
Okay so it's kind of hard to see. The main piece and inspiration for it was the dress in the middle. I thought it was really cute and I loved the colors. So then I picked a really cute pair of super high heels to go with it. Then I found a leather jacket and a golden clutch. I decided I needed to play off of the studs on the dress so I found some studded bracelets in there. Then I just started filling in the whole bottom with blue, black, and gold rings. One of my favorites is in the bottom left hand corner. its a ring with a little piano on it. Super Super Cute!To finish it off I added some trees with little blue birds in them and some blue and black feathers.

If you want to see the full version of this look then you can go to my polyvore account which is listed in our sidebar under 'must have links.' Also today I made a video that was some must have pieces for winter, so I'll post that as soon as I can!

You're Beautiful, It's True;

Helloooo Friends. So I decided that it is going to be too hard for people to know that JILL DOES GIVE OUR LOOKBOOK CODES and that it is great publicity for our site to have this on here, so I am adding it to our side bar! Just in case you didn't know, if you email me at jillcimorelli@gmail.com then I will give you a code to join. More specifications in the side bar!

Okay so this is kind of hard to see with the size it is, but it is a pair of shorts, with tights, heels, a long-sleeve shirt, and a grey t-shirt. I love the look that is tights with shorts and not to mention the shorts are highwaisted. Anyone who has ever read our blog knows I love that! hah. The look is super monotone which I really dig and the heels and big scarf add just the right look to it.

Okay the thing that drew me to this look is the dress. I think it's just really fun and would be great for a party or sweetsixteen, something along those lines. the shoes look great with it, though they look like they don't fit the girl in the picture very well. Her pony tail dresses down the look, but with your hair down and maybe curled it adds a whole different formal look to it.

Okay I absolutely love this look and it might be my favorite on this page, though the top one is amazing too. The over sized shirt with the miniskirt look amazing together and really dress down a look that could have been waaay to preppy for my taste. With the rolled up sleeves it really makes the sweater look even more over sized which is great.

F Is For Friends Who Do Stuff Together

YOOO! so I added a few new widgets to our side bar such as our map that tracks all the visitors we are getting and where they are from. If you click on the map it will show you exactly the town. We even had a hit from someone in the Philipines! Super Cool! Thank everyone! Also I added a list of the followers we have. Yes, it's only three, but I figured I would show off those three fabulous people :)
Okay so I thought this look was super cute. It's kind of hard to see in the size of the picture, but it's a floral print high waisted skirt that is cinched at the waist with a brown belt. Cinching is a tool I use almost everyday. I hate walking around in things that have no shape. The white top with the ruffles is simple, but adds a lot.

Okay so this look I thought was really unique and adorable. Don't be afraid of the things shown in this outfit. A lot of people are afraid to mix colors like these together, but they really do work! And also a lot of people never want their socks to show, which is okay for some looks, but it is okay for your socks to show in certain situations, such as this one. Overall great look!

I feel in love with this outfit the minute I saw it. The colors all go so great together! I love the skirt, really simple and elegant. The shirt is also just very simple, but with the brown bag it adds a certain feel to the look that makes it really stand out. I looove the bag and I kind of wish I had it!

And If Never Had To Face The World Without Her By My Side

YOOO! so i found some pretty inspiring pieces today :)

So amazingly super cute right? the dress fits her so great which is really important. The shoes add a lot to it also. I know its kind of hard to see, but they're really strappy heels that are so adorable. the small necklace around her neck is a leaf shape which is mega cute I think! With her hair up too it adds a really elegant element to it, but with you hair down in like loose curls it could be more playful.

This dress I find to be sooo cute! I think the light pink with the flowey skirt reminds me so much of a ballerina, not quite sure why. The bow tie and the belt cinching at the waist adds a more playful look along with the boots. If you added a pair of heels and took away the bowtie it would totally be sweet 16 material! Overall I looove this look!
